There are probably only two genera of interest to hobbyists in this family, Pachyseris and Pavona. Others describe here, such as those in the genera Agaricia, Coeloseris, Gardinineroseris and Leptoseris are plating and encrusting corals that are rarely if that, seen in the trade and are shown for identification purposes only.
