Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, East Coast of Africa, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, to the Philippines.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef slopes exposed to wave action and usually seen at depths between 3 - 50 feet (1 - 15 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
