Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian and Midway Islands.

Size: 5 inches (13 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits surge zones of rocky and coral reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 20 feet (1 – 6 m) where it feeds on filamentous algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
