Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Laccadives, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, and Japan.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy coastal slopes and usually found partially buried in the substrate at depths between 10 – 65 feet (3 – 20 m) where it feeds upon small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
