Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaii and Guam.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits deep rocky reef areas and is often found at depths below 600 feet (180 m) and is said to feed on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Very little is known about this very deep species. Shown here for identification purpose only. Should you have more information on this species, share it with me so I may post it for others to see.

FYI: Those in this genus are usually referred to as ‘Longnose Butterflyfish.’
