Range: Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, and northern coast of India.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky and coral reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 85 feet (1 – 25 m) where it feeds mostly on algae.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
