Common Name: Orange Claw Hermit

Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Caribbean

Natural Environment: Intertidal zones

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 68 to 81°F (20 - 27°C). Has orange legs and blue eyes and picks at micro and macroalgae, and decomposing matter. More active during the day and this slightly larger than 1 inch (2.5 cm) hermit spends most of its time on rocks. Safe for use in the reef aquarium.
