Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea and East Africa to Hawaii and eastward to the Gulf of California.

Size: 0.5 inch (1.3 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits various coral reef environments, mainly living on or near starfish, especially Linckia, Mithrodia, Acanthaster, Choriaster, and Culcita.

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.
