Lives singly in upper rock crevices on reef slopes
General Husbandry:
Has a temperature range of 74 to 82°F (23 - 27°C) and is one of the larger clownfish anemones, sometimes exceeding 36 inches (90 cm) in diameter. Requires a large aquarium, over 100 gallons, and gentle water movement and strong light (PAR 300 - 500). Prefers feedings with fish flesh, not crustacean meat and several feeding per week. Not easy to maintain.
