Range: Tropical Western Atlantic Ocean

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky coastal areas where it grows attached to rubble and rock.

Aquarium Suitability: When available, this species can get to 16 inches (40 cm) high and actually does fairly good in aquariums if provided good to moderate lighting.

Potential Control Species: Fish: Naso brevirostris, Naso lituratus
