Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoons and seaward reefs in areas of dense coral growth and usually found at depths between 15 – 65 feet (5 – 20 m) where it feeds on stony coral polyps.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
