Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Solomon Islands, Samoa, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tonga, and the Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoons and seaward reefs in areas of dense coral growth and usually found at depths between 6 – 200 feet (2 – 60 m) where it feeds on stony coral polyps.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
