Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to South Africa, southern Japan, Philippines, Australia, New Caledonia, also the southeastern Atlantic Ocean: south coast of South Africa

Size: 12 inches - 30 cm

Natural Environment: Inhabits muddy and sandy lagoon areas

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 82°F (22 - 28°C) and feeds upon benthic invertebrate. Shown here for identification only. Nocturnal and feeds at night.

Aquarium Suitability: Fish only aquariums/best left in the wild
