Range: Circumglobal: Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Size: 22 inches (55 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits soft bottom areas in lagoons and reefs and usually found at depths between 65 to 300 feet (20 - 90 m) where it feeds mainly at night on benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
