These can be considered 'different' from what we generally think of as sea slugs as some may have a shell or even an operculum. Found worldwide and in both shallow and deep biotopes. They burrow into soft substrates in the search of worms, foraminiferans, snails, and bivalves. Most are unsuitable for home aquariums.
