These are nocturnal members of the Superfamily Nematocarcinoidea, Family Rhynchocinetidae and those found in the trade have a taste for zooanthids and LPS corals, and will also occasionally pester or pinch other soft and stony corals.

Those entering the trade are shy and difficult to feed, while others described below are best left in the wild.
