Range: Western Pacific: Japan south to New South Wales Australia, and east to Fiji and Marshall Islands.

Size: 9 inches (23 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits protected bays, harbors, tide pools, and lagoons and generally seen in shallow weedy areas and usually found at depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 - 20 m) where it feeds mainly at benthic invertebrate and small fishes.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only, yet should it become available in the trade, aquarium husbandry is similar to P. schauinslandii.
