Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Indonesia to Vanuatu, north to Southern Japan, south to northern Australia.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit branching coral heads and usually found at depths between 6 – 50 feet (2 – 15 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale greyish body with a wide vertical black patch below the second dorsal, two vertical orange lines behind the eyes and a tiny black spot on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not yet collected for the trade.
