Range: Western Indian Ocean: Zanzibar, Tanzania to Sodwana, South Africa.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits branching coral heads and rocky areas on seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale greyish body with a black spot on its caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not collected for the trade.
