Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan south to Australia.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore coral reef caves and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a tannish grey body with several orange-yellow stripes on the head through the length of the body. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
