Apogon pselion

Range: Western Indian Ocean: Gulf of Aqaba and Gulf of Suez.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky reefs and usually found at depths between 30 – 150 feet (10 – 45 m) where it feeds on crustaceans/zooplankton during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale tannish body with several white horizontal lines on the face, and a black blotch on the caudal peduncle. As of 2016, not yet purposely collected for the trade.
