Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida, Bahamas to Belize.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and crevices on fore-reef slopes and drop-offs on local reefs and usually found at depths between 15 – 200 feet (5 – 60 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans during evening hours.

General Husbandry: Has a pale reddish body with a white spot on the upper rear body. As of 2016, not yet purposely/normally collected for the trade. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
