Range: Southwest Atlantic and Eastern Central Atlantic Ocean: Endemic to Brazil.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rock pools and crevices and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has an overall reddish body with a black eye band. Not yet purposely collected for the trade in 2016. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
