Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: South Africa northeast to Southern Japan, and south to Queensland, Australia.
Size: 40 inches (100 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits coral rich lagoons and seaward reefs and is usually found in depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes.
General Husbandry: Has a whitish body with several upper body black bands. Not collected for the trade.
