Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Bermuda, throughout the Caribbean and south to Brazil.
Size: 45 inches (112 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits areas near caves on inshore reefs and found at depths between 3 – 300 feet (1 – 90 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.
General Husbandry: Has whitish body with uneven dark brown patches on the body and head. Not purposely collected for the trade.
