These fishes belong in the Order Pleuronectiformes and Suborder Pleuronectoidei, with few or any of interest to hobbyists.

All need a fine grain sandbed to bury themselves and an unencumbered environment to search for its foods, usually worms and crustaceans. Would be difficult to maintain long term.
