This are aggressive photosynthetic stony corals and are not recommended for the beginner. One thing for sure, they should not be placed within six to eight inches of another coral. After the lights go out they extend many long sweepers that can kill or severely sting any animals close by. During the day, the tentacles of each polyp are about three-eighths of an inch long and are tipped with white.
