Range: Western Pacific Ocean: South of Japan, west to Africa's East Coast, and throughout the Red Sea
Natural Environment: Inhabits upper reef slopes
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 81°F (22 - 27°C). Requires occasional swift water movement, and will not tolerate hair algae. Susceptible to bristle worms. Used extensively in the jewelry trade.
