Natural Environment: Inhabits tidepools and shaded vertical rock walls to considerable depths, i.e., over 300 feet (90 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 50 to 68°F (10 - 20°C). Requires cool water and hand feeding, e.g., raw fish pieces, shrimp, tubifex worms, and is especially fond of mussel flesh. Two to three feedings per month suffices in cold water environments.
