Common Name: Swimming Anemone
Species Name: Boloceroides mcmurrichii (Knietniewski, 1898)
Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean
Natural Environment: Found among sponges, under table corals, and in mangrove areas
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 82°F (22 - 27°C). Called a swimming anemone, however, this small anemone (2 inches - 5 cm) mostly drifts with the current. Not seen in the trade and better left in the wild. Shown here for identification only.
