Common Name: Knobby Anemone
Species Name: Bartholomea lucida Duchassaing & Michelotti, 1860
Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Caribbean, Bahamas
Natural Environment: Singly living and found in reef and rock crevices at depths between 3 to 100 feet (1 - 30 m)
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 79°F (22 - 26°C). They are slightly larger than B. annulata, have the same requirements and do the same damage. Has whitish knobs along the tentacles and also consider it to be in the same pest-like group as the Rock Anemone, Aiptasia pallida. They are better kept in an aquarium dedicated to their needs.
