Common Name: Dwarf Spotted Worm Cucumber

Species Name: Synaptula sp.


Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean


Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rocky inner and outer reef bottom areas


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 73 to 83°F (23 - 28°C). Always found associated with sponges, and probably feeds upon organic films and tiny invertebrate. Sticky to the touch and gets about 8 inches (20 cm). Rarely seen in the trade. Better left in the wild.
