Species Name: Euapta godeffroyi (Semper, 1868)


Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean/Hawaii/Red Sea


Natural Environment: Inhabit sandy and rocky inner and outer reef bottom areas


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 73 to 83°F (23 - 28°C). Sticky to the touch and gets quite large, about 60 inches (150 cm) when fully grown. Feeds on detritus and organic matter, which is sifted from the substrate. Rarely found in the trade, yet common in Hawaii.
