Species Name: Phyllognathia certophthalmus


Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Maldives to Japan and New Caledonia


Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef areas and found near rubble and sponges


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 73 to 83°F (23 - 28°C). A small shrimp, about 0.5 inch (2 cm) which is not collected for the aquarium trade and shown here for identification only. Rarely seen in the wild.
