Species Name: Panulirus ornatus (Fabricius, 1798)


Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean


Natural Environment: Inhabits reef caves and crevices


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 to 83°F (22 - 28°C). This species gets at least 20 inches (50 cm) in length. Mostly a human food item in these areas and not collected for the aquarium trade.
