Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea to Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf
Size: Up to 12 in (30 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow sandy and rubble reef areas
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 83°F (22 - 28°C) and has a natural diet of benthic invertebrate. Requires a varied diet, including fortified brine shrimp, mysis, other meaty type frozen foods and some green algae such as kelp or Spirulina flake. Should have two or three feedings per day.
