Natural Environment: Inhabit muddy and sandy bottom areas in lagoons

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 83°F (22 - 28°C) and has a natural diet of benthic invertebrate. In captivity it must have a diet of live foods, i.e., live brine shrimp, and/or amphipods and isopods naturally existing in the aquarium. Therefore, they should only be placed in well-established reef aquariums. And, to make things even more difficult to maintain them, their food must be on the substrate surface or they will not eat it. Rarely seen in the trade and better left in the wild unless you dedicate the needed resources and effort to maintain them.
