Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Guinea, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Ryukyu Islands, China, Taiwan, and Western Australia


Size: Up to 12 in (30 cm)


Natural Environment: Inhabit coastal areas, river mouths, and sea grass beds


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 75 - 82°F (24 - 28°C) and feeds mostly upon benthic algae, and some seagrass. Not yet seen in the trade - shown here for identification purpose only.
