Natural Environment: Inhabit coral reef edge areas where it forms groups at midwater levels
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 74 - 82°F (23 - 28°C). In the wild it feeds upon zooplankton. A fast moving fish needing much swimming space and very good water movement. Requires a varied diet of fresh and frozen meaty foods, with several feeding per day. Rarely seen in the trade and better left in the wild.
