Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Cocos-Keeling and Christmas Islands, and in the eastern Indian Ocean to the Line, Marquesas, and Ducie Islands, north to Bonin Island, south to New Caledonia and Austral Island, and throughout Micronesia
Size: Up to 10 inches (25 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit exposed reef fronts and outer reef slopes where it perches on rocks and corals
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and natural diet consists mainly of benthic invertebrate and zooplankton. Not yet seen in the trade, shown here for identification purpose only.
