Species Name: Pseudogramma gregoryi (Breder, 1927)


Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Southern Florida, Bermuda, Bahamas to northern South America


Size: Up to 3 inches (7.5 cm)


Natural Environment: Inhabit reef flats and fore-reef slopes containing coral rubble and stony corals


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of crustaceans. Requires a meaty diet, i.e., enriched chopped fish or shrimp flesh, and daily feedings. Does not produce toxic skin mucus. Non-aggressive, however, rarely seen in the wild, not alone in the trade. A secretive species and requires a dimly lit aquarium with many hiding places.
