Species Name: Plectropomus leopardus (Lacépède, 1802)
Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Southern Japan to Queensland and east to New Caledonia and Fiji
Size: Up to 40 inches (100 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit backside of barrier reefs and channels
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists of small fishes. Not seen in the trade that I know of - shown here for identification purpose.
