Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Hawaiian, Line, and Society Islands, north to southern Japan, and south to New Caledonia and New South Wales
Size: Up to 110 inches (275 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow reef faces and fore-reef slopes
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of small fishes and crustaceans. This is a food or gamefish and not suited for aquaria. Shown here for identification only.
