Species Name: Eviota albolineata Jewett & Lachner, 1983


Range: Indo-Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Tuamotu Islands, north to Taiwan, Okinawa and Japan, south to Lord Howe Island and Tubuai Islands and throughout Micronesia


Size: Up to 1.5 inches (3 cm)


Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow lagoons and channel reefs


General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C). Natural diet consists mainly of zooplankton. Requires a meaty diet, i.e., enriched brine shrimp, mysis, finely chopped fish or shrimp flesh, and other various frozen carnivore foods, with one or two feedings per day. Rarely seen in the trade and makes a nice addition to nano reef tanks.
