Range: Widespread in the Indo-Pacific Ocean

Size: Up to 1.25 inches (3.5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sand and rubble bottom edges of steep lagoon slopes and found at depths between 40 - 100 feet (12 - 30 m)

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 83°F (22 - 28°C). Natural diet consists mainly of zooplankton. Requires a meaty diet, i.e., enriched brine shrimp, mysis, finely chopped fish or shrimp flesh, and other various frozen carnivore foods, with one or two feedings per day. Rarely seen in the trade and makes a nice addition to nano reef tanks.
