Species Name: Parupeneus barberinoides (Bleeker, 1852)
Range: Widespread in the western and central Pacific Ocean
Size: Up to 10 inches (25 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit deeper water areas and slopes where rubble and coral pieces abound
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and their natural diet consists mainly of benthic invertebrate. Requires a meaty diet with numerous feedings per day. The smallest of the genus and well suited as a sand stirrer. I fed enriched sinking shrimp pellets at least once a day.
