Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: New Jersey, Bermuda, northern Gulf of Mexico to Brazil
Size: Up to 24 inches (60 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit inshore reef areas and lagoons under rocks and in rubble areas
General Husbandry: Has a wide temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and will accept a wide range of meaty foods, yet prefers mostly crustaceans and small fishes. Feed once or twice a week using a feeding stick. Should have enough rocky areas/caves to hide in.
