Range: Widespread in the Indo-Pacific Ocean
Size: Up to 72 inches (180 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow coastal reef areas and lagoons under rocks and in rubble areas
General Husbandry: Temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C) and natural diet consists of fishes and octopuses. Will accept a wide range of meaty foods. Feed once or twice a week using a feeding stick. Size of black spots on its white body depend upon age of the specimen. Juveniles have large meandering black spots. Young adults have smaller meandering black spots and the spots are even smaller on the large adult. Many times sold as a "Tessellated Moray." Gets too large for most hobbyist aquariums.
