Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: southern Florida, Bermuda, south to Brazil
Size: Up to 34 inches (87 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow coral reefs
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C). Natural diet consists of small fishes and crustaceans. Nocturnal, and may only feed upon 'live' fishes. Needs sufficient hiding places as it is quite shy, and one to two feedings per week. Not often seen in the trade.
