Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: southern Florida, Bermuda, western Gulf of Mexico to Brazil
Size: Up to 13 inches (32 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabit coral reefs
General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 72 - 82°F (22 - 28°C). Natural diet consists of small fishes. Not much is known about this species, however, it may only feed upon 'live' fishes, and that it needs sufficient hiding places as it is quite shy. Not often seen in the trade.
